List of Authorized GST Suvidha Providers (GSPs)
GST Suvidha Providers are going to facilitate the filing of returns to the GST Network. GST system’s functionalities are available to the taxpayers and Application Service Providers (ASPs) via these GST Suvidha Providers. ASPs give an interface to taxpayers to do their filings.
At a fundamental level, we could envisage GSPs as a bridge between the GST Network and Application Service Providers. GSPs cannot read or modify any data. However, they could use the APIs given by the GST Network to create better, enhanced systems to help taxpayers do their filings.
In total GST Network has shortlisted a total of 34 GST Suvidha Providers. For the selection, the financial criteria were – paid up/raised capital of at least 5 crores and an average turnover of at least 10 crores during the last 3 financial years. They also had to demonstrate their technical capability by creating software for filing GSTR 1,2 & 3 along with reconciliation. The software was graded and anyone getting less than 60% marks wasn’t given approval.
